​Our Mission Statement
Our mission is to help addicted individuals develop the life skills critical to generating adaptive & positive behaviors - so that they may effectively cope with the many demands and challenges of everyday life.
​The Empowerment Recovery Center of Chester, Pennsylvania, is a drug rehabilitation service provider licensed by Pennsylvania's Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs. It is tailored to meet the needs of those who suffer with substance dependence. 
 
ERC-Chester’s mission is to aid and support the rehabilitation of current adult substance abusers to develop new and healthier ways of coping with life. 

​Treatment services are provided to both male and female clients, ages 18 and over. Persons from all faiths and walks of life are welcome.

We at ERC-Chester seek to help individuals understand their problems through therapeutic processes. Professional, certified staff provides all clinical and case management services. Our programs are developed based on the assessment of the client’s needs, with the goal of helping them develop alternative patterns of behavior and life skills needed to maintain a drug-free, productive lifestyle. ​

Because we are an holistic program we prepare our clients to be reconciled and restored to their families and the community.   We provide programs several times each year for the children of our clients.

The Empowerment Recovery Center of Chester is governed by a local board of directors that works closely with several community agencies.  We welcome other community partners.

Our Vision
  • The primary vision of The Empowerment Recovery Center, Chester, Pennsylvania, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is to provide high quality physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual help to those afflicted with substance abuse problems in the New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware tri-state of area and beyond.

  • The  Empowerment Recovery Center of Chester operates as an out-patient rehabilitation center that offers a high standard of professional help to men and women 18 years of age and older who are suffering from drug and alcohol addiction.  Persons from all faiths and walks of life are welcome.

  • Together with the message of love and forgiveness, The  Empowerment Recovery Center of Chester provides drug treatment services based on the twelve-step program; we prepare clients to return to society as empowered, productive members.

  • Our priority is to RETURN TO SERVICE by re-establishing a facility and program that meets and exceeds the requirements of the state of Pennsylvania and provides the desperately needed services that are in high demand throughout the tri-state region.
